DIY Wall Art

So, while I've been on vacation this week we have been working on the house.  We have an entire wall in our living room that had nothing on it.  So, I thought I'd put together something fun and since I can't really paint this is what I ended up with.

It was really quit simple.  I originally created simple frame from 1'x2'x8's at Home Depot but then had a few canvases lying around the house so I used those instead.  If I were to use the frames I would have covered it in a base canvas/thicker fabric/sheet to give the top layer something to hold onto.

The overall size of each were:
2x of 18" x 24"
1x of 16" x 20"

Materials needed:
Frames or Canvases
Fabric - home decor fabric worked great
Staples & Staple Gun

Took about 1/2 hour and I love the look and depth it added to the room.
